What is UP CRAdLe?
We are the UP Children’s Rights Advocates League (UP CRAdLe). Sharing one passion for social equality and economic progress, for community development and the enforcement of the rights of the child, we are unified by the codes of moral principles and value for life and the guidance of God to promote the welfare of the Filipino children in our society today.
What can we do?
UP CRAdLe unites individuals that as a group may bring to realization the following objectives:
1. Organize information drives regarding social and community issues in our country, especially issues concerning the rights and welfare of the child.
2. Provide assistance and guidance to children in many communities in their socio-cultural and moral development.
3. Work towards the enhancement of the economic and social well-being of many of our Filipino brothers and sisters, especially the Filipino children.
4. Provide a venue for individuals who want to contribute in the social development of communities or barangays in the Philippines.
5. Campaign or lobby for national bills, proposals and measures that may promote the enforcement of the rights of children and help in the improvement of living standards and alleviation of poverty in the country.
6. Provide valuable and informative research regarding the social and civic status of the many communities in the Philippines.
7. Organize out-reach programs for targeted communities and barangays.
Can we make a difference?
Of course, we can! And we can do better with your help. Yes, you. We were children once too, and deep in our hearts, we would remain forever young. Wouldn’t it be nice to see this nation with smiles than with depressed, starving, and abused faces? Together, we can achieve that. Together, we can alleviate the status of the Filipino youth. Together, we can make a difference.
